Cisilion, Azlan and EMC work together to deliver enhanced enterprise storage solutions

Leading systems integrator, value distributor and storage vendor are collaborating to meet customer needs for transformation and hybrid infrastructure services
 
London, 15 December 2015 – Cisilion, a leading global systems integrator, is working with Azlan, the enterprise solutions and services distributor, and storage vendor EMC, to complement and extend Cisilion’s existing data centre and hybrid cloud expertise and drive significant new business opportunities.   
 
The collaboration will mean close co-operation between the companies on a number of EMC projects, in which Azlan wills provided pre-sales support, professional services expertise and product fulfilment on the vendor’s solutions to Cisilion, with additional support from EMC itself. Azlan will also become Cisilion’s preferred and sole distribution provider of EMC solutions.

TDAzlan hails Dell Enterprise agreement as platform for partner growth

Value distributor puts extensive resources in place and secures Dell Configuration Centre status from day one enabling VARs to benefit from the full range of its advanced capabilities

Basingstoke, 01 June 2015 – Azlan, Tech Data’s specialist enterprise infrastructure, data centre, software, services and cloud business unit, is aiming to help VARs grow their enterprise sales following the announcement that Azlan will now be offering Dell’s full range of server, storage, networking, software and services solutions to resellers in the UK.

The agreement builds on the extension of the existing European agreement between Tech Data and Dell for client solutions to the UK, which was announced last month, and on the established partnerships between Azlan with both Dell SonicWALL and Dell Wyse in the UK.  These have been in place for a number of years, so there are already good lines of communication between the two organisations.

Azlan is making major investments to support its appointment as a distributor for the full Dell Enterprise portfolio, appointing dedicated Dell Business Development Managers for each product line (Servers, Storage, Networking, Software and Services) and putting in-place 25 trained internal sales specialists. A team of eight pre-sales experts and ten field sales specialists, who are fully-trained in Dell solutions, is already in place.

In addition, Azlan has created a new lead generation team to help drive new business for partners across the entire Dell Enterprise range. It is also planning to provide a showcase of the complete Dell Enterprise solutions stack at the new Azlan Business Solutions Centre at its Heathrow location.

Rob Tomlin, Director of Enterprise at Tech Data Azlan, states: “From day-one we will be the best-equipped distribution partner for Dell Enterprise solutions in the UK, with more people and resources available to help partners maximise their potential. That means Azlan partners will be able to benefit from both the value-added and volume capabilities of our business and deliver higher levels of service to their customers on Dell Enterprise solutions.”

TDAzlan opens new Business Solutions Centre at Heathrow

New facility provides unequalled access to latest technologies for demonstration and training purposes, plus access to Azlan’s pan-European BSC Network

Basingstoke, 21 May 2015 – Azlan, Tech Data’s specialist enterprise infrastructure, data centre, software, services and cloud business unit, is today announcing the opening of its new Business Solutions Centre (BSC) at the company’s Heathrow location. The centre is available for resellers to use, both to learn about and to demonstrate advanced enterprise solutions to customers.

This new facility extends significantly on the resources that were previously available and also forms the cornerstone of Azlan’s BSC Network, which links the Heathrow centre with similar resources in France, the Netherlands and Sweden, providing access to an extensive and unrivalled range of technologies. As well as the latest hardware and software from leading enterprise vendors, the Azlan BSC provides access to mobile and client solutions offered by Tech Data Mobile, and audiovisual solutions from Maverick, as integrated elements.

Ian Mills, Service Delivery Manager at Azlan, says that the new BSC will be an invaluable resource for resellers.  “IaaS, SaaS and cloud services, software-defined networking and network virtualisation, converged infrastructures and mobility are opening new horizons in terms of what is possible to achieve with IT systems. When they are brought together, these technologies have the potential to be truly transformational for customers.

“But it is a constant challenge for partners to keep pace with developments and to demonstrate their potential to customers. The Business Solutions Centre provides a vital resource for our partners, both for their own learning and development, and as a way of exploring the possibilities with customers. The BSC is being equipped with all the latest technologies from Azlan’s leading vendor partners. It can be set up to deliver many technology combinations. Demonstrations will be delivered by skilled Azlan specialists and technical consultants. It can be branded with partners’ logos and also those of their end user, if required. Mills says it should be seen as an extension to the partner’s business, enabling them to demonstrate the latest technologies and solutions without the expense and capital outlay of managing their own facility.

“It’s a tremendously flexible and adaptable environment. Experience has shown that by exploiting this resource our partners can shorten the sales cycle and increase their chances of winning opportunities; as well as expanding the breadth of the opportunity by giving them the ability to demonstrate complementary products and solutions.”

Azlan has made a significant investment in the new BSC. There are eight APC Infrastruxure racks within the data centre itself. A separate and external storage resource provides significant capacity to create and store popular technology combinations, so that any of its consultants can quickly reconstruct them when required.

In addition, the resources available in the other three centres in the Azlan BSC Network will be available via a private WAN. A 100Gbps connection is being installed at Heathrow to ensure there is adequate bandwidth to support live demonstrations.

As well as the demonstration room facilities, there are also dedicated training rooms within the BSC, which can be used for small or large-group sessions. Azlan’s consultants are made available to provide classroom-based and hands-on training.

The Azlan Business Solutions Centre at Heathrow is is easy to reach and just a few minutes away from the M4, M40 and M25. The facilities are also available for customers to use remotely from their own location.

TDAzlan launches dedicated website for MSPs

Leading distributor makes it easy for managed services providers to take advantage of its dedicated team, lead generation and online vendor accreditation tools and resources

Basingstoke, 13 May 2015 – Azlan, the UK’s leading distributor for MSPs, has unveiled a dedicated website for managed services providers, featuring tools and resources that enable them to take full advantage of the in-depth expertise, lead generation and vendor accreditation support offered by Azlan’s expert team.
