Azlan sees strong potential for partners with HP ConvergedSystem 200-HC StoreVirtual

Basingstoke, 06 January 2015 – Azlan, the Enterprise division of Tech Data, is predicting a positive response and uptake for the new HP ConvergedSystem 200-HC StoreVirtual, throughout 2015.

With the launch of the ConvergedSystem 200-HC, HP is signalling the end of virtualised infrastructures in which the server, storage and software were purchased separately and then brought together, to one in which the whole solution comes ready-made as a fully integrated system.

Billed as ‘the fastest, easiest way to deploy and manage virtual infrastructure’, the HP ConvergedSystem 200-HC StoreVirtual is a hyper-converged system which can be deployed in around 15 minutes. As well as all the core building blocks, it also comes with integrated HP OneView management software.

Aimed at businesses with up to 250 seats, at a stroke, it expands the potential available market for virtualised solutions, says Jonathan Kaiser, Head of Product for Azlan’s HP Enterprise Group. “The HP ConvergedSystem 200-HC is a totally and truly converged environment that is ready to go out of the box. That makes it easier to sell and deploy – and more affordable. It will be an easier decision to make for customers and will bring many more prospects – who might have otherwise looked at lower cost options that would not deliver the same level of functionality – into the frame. It’s a really great opportunity.”

Azlan’s specialist HP team will be offering multi-level support on the new HP ConvergedSystem, enabling resellers to quickly attain the level of pre-sales support they need to win business. Azlan will be arranging a series of workshops and demonstrations for partners that are interested in learning more about the HP ConvergedSystem 200-HC.

The HP ConvergedSystem 200-HC StoreVirtual is expected to made available for shipment in the first quarter of this year. A special promotion is also being planned for resellers that undertake training and engage with Azlan on sales and marketing.

Azlan’s HP teams achieve ISMM training centre accreditation

Value-added distributor’s HP sales team achieves internationally-recognised qualification through award-winning TD Academy training portal

Barcelona, 13 November 2014 – Azlan, Tech Data’s specialist brand for value-added distribution of enterprise networking, server, storage and software solutions, has completed the latest phase of the HP Sales Excellence Program, with 149 of its HP specialist sales staff from across Europe completing the second module of four of their ISMM (Institute of Sales and Marketing Management) Level 3 Certificate in Sales and Marketing.

The distributor’s HP Sales Excellence Program aims to set the highest standards in the industry for professional sales practice in value distribution. Azlan has also attained the status of an ISMM Recognised Centre, enabling it to deliver ISMM sales qualifications to its own staff and reseller customers.

Based in London, the ISMM is the worldwide representative body for sales professionals. It is internationally-recognised authority as the custodian of sales standards, ethics and best practice and a provider of professional sales training and qualifications. As an ISMM Centre, Azlan is accredited to deliver ISMM courses and assess and certify trainees that meet the required standards.

Azlan’s HP-dedicated sales staff, from all 16 countries in which it has a presence in Europe, are now taking an ISMM Level 3 course that has been specially designed to meet their needs. The training is provided online through the TD Academy training portal and subsequently assessments are carried out by Azlan’s own qualified ISMM assessors to ensure that all HP sales staff have met the high standards required to achieve the certification. The TD Academy Portal was recently recognized with a coveted Brandon Hall Group Silver award for excellence in the Best Sales Training Program for Extended Enterprise category.
